"Perfectly located, walk to bars or the beach in just a couple minutes. Hot showers, great Aircon and a STUNNING pool!! We had a very brief stay but when we were there the staff were so friendly and made the experience even better!"

"They supply earplugs. This is good for light sleepers. There is a yard with at least 20 roosters close to the back of the property. They start long before sunrise and go into the night. There are also 3 different locals nearby doing very loud karaoke and you can hear them all at the same time. Filipinos LOVE their karaoke. Otherwise, everything about this place is perfect. We absolutely loved our stay here. "

"We loved staying here! The room was perfect and it’s located right by the pool! The pictures are very accurate. We rented a car so it made coming and going easy. Others reviewed that they didn’t like it being outside of town, but when we visited the town we were thrilled with our location at Casa de MoalBoal. The town is very cramped and dirty, so it was lovely coming home to a fresh, clean, and relaxing atmosphere. The free breakfast was always good. We also snorkeled just out front. "

"Staff were so friendly and helpful, a big thank you to the girls in reception for decorating our room for my wife’s birthday. The hotel is ideally located right on the beachfront great snorkeling in front of the hotel. It’s a short walk to the Main Street for the bars & restaurants. Highly recommended will definitely be back."

"Great hostel. Our room was clean, air con worked well. Drinking water provided. The hostel is social without being a party hostel, they’ve got the balance just right. The pool and swim up bar were great. Really enjoyed our time here, would definitely recommend. "

"Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. The only saving grace was the staff, who were friendly and helpful, but that does not make up for the dreadful conditions. I would never stay here again. Avoid this place unless...
