"The location was very neat UNTIl we tried to fall asleep. There was a considerable amount of noise from the road and nearby parking lot. Loud trucks drove to the cruise ship area at all hours. We had a smoke alarm that decided to chirp in the middle of the night. Maintenance was not available so I was able to get a battery from the front desk and changed it myself. "The place is truly unique. Gorgeous decor, large rooms, and super friendly staff. The manager Carlos is awesome and waited for over an hour for me at the airport because of delays, without complaint. He made me feel like family, and gave me a bottle of ice child water as soon as we arrived at the property. This is clearly the best stay I've had ever and I've been to a lot of different countries... Very reasonably priced and fire what you get for what you pay for, it's a steal... This is a 5 star...

"This was my 4th trip staying in Panama and I must say, I enjoyed my stay the most this time choosing this hotel for the first time. The breakfast every morning was amazing and catered to early departure guests. Only thing to note is that you are closer to the airport ( about 15 mins) but further away from Panama City where most of the activities and restaurants are ( 30 mins without traffic) this wasn’t a big issue because transportation is reasonable. Just a note to cater for time in commute....

"Hotel is in what they call old city (area looks colonial). There are many stores in the area for shopping. The hotel itself is nice. The staff was friendly. The pool was beautiful and I had a great time using the on site spa. The rooftop restaurant had good food and live entertainmen. The hotel was well kept. "
