"Always a wonderful stay here in this gorgeous Georgian Hotel. Very happy to accept our mini dachshund who was able to sit with us at breakfast. Staff were friendly and hospitable as per usual. Always there for anything but not unobtrusive. My wife had a anti aging facial in the spa and felt incredibly relaxed afterwards. The Superior room was spacious and perfect for our 3 night stay. A special mention for the shower which was possibly the best I have had in the UK. Maybe its the waters in Matlock Bath. They do say they are rejuvenating."

"A little bit like staying at Grandma's house in the decor. I would like to request that the locks on the doors are upgraded - the current single lock without deadbolt does not feel very secure.
