"Really cute little Inn in the perfect location in Spring Lake. A block from the beach, 10 minute walk to downtown Spring Lake. The room was small but cute. Adorable lobby and staff puts out fresh fruit, sweets throughout the day. Would stay here again for the location!"

"I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was inviting and accommodating. The location was great, a very short walk to the beach, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, I had a great time and hope to be there again very soon!"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. We Loved our stay at the Mathis House Victorian Bed & Breakfast and Tea Room luncheon. Beautifully decorated. Loved all the food selections. both Tea & breakfast. Rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Had a cute shop also. We loved the selections of teas & bought some for home. Highly recommend staying here."

"We had a good stay at Berkeley Hotel. The property is clean and the amenities are great. We didn’t get to use the gym or the pool, but the proximity to the beach is fantastic. Some areas for improvement: 1) Better training for staff - On two separate occasions, we were dealing with two staff members who were very friendly but didn’t really know what they were doing (front desk and pool). 2) Towels for the beach. Our group consisted of women from LA and Vegas, and we all took the NJT train from NY Penn. None of us had beach towels, and the hotel’s policy of not bringing hotel towels to the beach posed a huge inconvenience for us. 3) Bell service and doormen - when we arrived (via Uber from the NJT station), no one greeted us, or offered assistance with our luggage, despite there being 3 gentlemen sitting around by the front doors. Not a great first impression. "
