"We stayed at Visitation during our son and DIL marriage in the Frederick courthouse- afterwards we reserved dinner at Wye Oak Tavern. The environment, presentation and superior taste of food made for a memorable evening. They treated us with a glass of complimentary champagne to celebrate our night and we never felt rushed to leave that evening. It was a special night and our stay at hotel was superb - rooms were immaculate and comfortable- hotel grounds were lovely to relax."

"I booked a room for the executive suite. I was supposed to get a king bed, and a pull out sofa bed. When we planned to go to bed, there was no pull out sofa bed. I immediately called the front desk, they only offered to send up a rollaway bed which was much smaller and uncomfortable compared to what I paid for and was supposed to have being a pull out sofa bed. They had no manager for me to speak with, and provided no discount or refund for again a room I paid for and did not get. They did not...

"No mattress pad, only a plastic liner under the sheet. This was a bedbug-bag style plastic liner, completely encasing the mattress, so it is likely rarely cleaned. A raggedy mattress pad was provided upon my insistence, for me to put on the bed myself. The sheets were mushy microfiber, with holes in them."

"Room was clean, and it is a convenient location for a very low price relative to surrounding options. The breakfast selection was pretty rough, and the dining room had a funky smell. But the room was so cheap we just justified going to a nearby diner for breakfast instead."
