"I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with my older teenage son at the end of June and we had a fantastic time. It's very well located with a 3 minute walk into Taormina town plus a cliff side setting with amazing views down to the sea, across to mainland Italy and the wider area around Taormina. Our room was a bit of a squeeze but they accommodated our request for two single beds, rather than a double, and it came with a fabulous view of the sea. The air con was highly appreciated due to the high temperatures and the room met all our basic needs. It was slightly dated but did not spoil the enjoyment of our holiday plus the beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was included and was buffet-style which suited us perfectly. The staff were mainly very helpful and polite - Giuseppe on the pool bar was excellent, all the reception staff were super helpful and polite, plus Nancy in the dining room was always smiling and happy to make me fresh coffees in the morning! They all spoke good English which we were thankful for. We ate at the hotel restaurant once while we there, it was empty apart from us but the food was delicious and the service was efficient and friendly. I would happily stay at the Splendid hotel again, if I'm ever lucky enough to be back in Taormina, and would highly recommend it based on all the above plus the reasonable cost. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my all inclusive two week stay. The food was excellent, the pools were never crowded and the beach was beautiful. The concierge was very helpful with organising trips. It was very helpful that the hotel organised a shuttle service to Taormina too. My only criticism was that it might have been helpful if the restaurant staff staggered putting out the antipasti dishes because if you didn’t arrive at the beginning of dinner the choice became limited because many of the plates were finished, but this is only a minor criticism. "

"We loved ending our trip to Sicily at Una Hotel Taormina! We were so lazy spending nearly every day lounging by the pool/sea. The staff was amazing. We only went to town once, but was easy to use the shuttle if you plan ahead. We spent one day at Mt Etna-not too far & worth it! Sadly, we did not do a boat ride due to weather-wasnt awful, but since we had already done a boat in Ortegia we watched the boats in the drizzle from under our umbrella by the sea :) We would stay there again! PS Bed was so comfortable & balcony view amazing! Room Decor was quaint, like staying Nonna’s house, old country Italian, but super clean! The other spaces were modernized. "

"Hotel Villa Belvedere is an absolute gem, oozing with charm and elegance. The hotel is located only a short walk to all the main restaurant ,shopping and other attractions. The meticulously maintained hotel offers a luxurious retreat, with pristine linens, flawless service, and immaculately kept grounds. On arrival we were greeted by with a glass of wine and shown a map of the area and excursion options. We were then show to our stunning room. Room 25, with its own private balcony with jaw dropping views. The delightful breakfast is a buffet style with many delicious pastries along with the traditional scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, the terrace or inside offering panoramic views of the bay. The hotel offers old-world elegance, modern comforts, breath taking views, wonderful service, friendly and attentive staff, immaculately clean rooms. I will be recommending The Hotel Villa Belvedere to all my family and friends. I only wish we could have stayed longer. "

"Beautiful hotel very centrally located and very easy to walk to centre of town. Room was perfect and very spacious and comfortable with a small balcony looking out to sea and Etna on the side of the hotel. Fabulous large swimming pool and although a short stroll down several steps it’s a stunning walk and beautiful views from the loungers.Breakfast was amazing and lovely room to eat in with lots of space to get s good table. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend wholeheartedly."

"This was the one of the best hotel stay’s that I have ever had. The concierge and front desk personnel were extremely kind and helpful. Also the location of the hotel was amazing, we were a 3 min walk from the cable car that goes into the city center. The hotel is right on the beach which is so convenient. I could go on and on about how wonderful our stay was!! "
