We only had two nights, but it would be the perfect location for a week-long stay. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. Highly recommend."

"Very well located, spacious and well kept. Unfortunately they put us in a room right at the entrance of their second building in our first night. Our bed was right in front of the main door, so anyone could see us and we could hear every one that was coming in + the cleaning team at 6am next morning. Also the air conditioning was not working. Next day they moved us to a far better room that I believe should better reflect their standards. Make sure you don’t get that 1st family room!"

"The staff were so nice, friendly and helpful. If it were not for them my score would have been lower. The hotel itself was fine, but I would not say soundproof. Each night I stayed there were ambulance/police sirens that could easily be heard. Also loud music and loud vehicles could be heard from my room. You can’t hear regular street noise, but I was woken up more than a few times."

"Great view of castle excellent local, close to eve scene and castle, be prepared for hill and many stairs in Edinburgh. Staff very helpful and even offered to give directions with fewest stairs, no ac but had a fan came late May REALLY HOT in room windows only opened s small crack (we did come when they had a heat wave)"

"An excellent location off the Royal Mile. The room was spacious, and the in-room washer/dryer made our trip easier. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was a Sainsbury nearby for groceries. This room (#4) faces the back courtyard and church - we found it very light-filled yet without street noise. There is no elevator, but the steps were easy."
