"Lovely 60th birthday stay. The food was excellent, the bar, the lounge area and the dining facilities are so snug and such nice places to be. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to return in the near future."

"On arrival our host, Mal, gave us a warm welcome. Our room was spotless with added touches such as fresh flowers, chocolates and refrigerated bottled water. There was an good choice for breakfast, all excellently freshly cooked by Mal. We stayed for five nights and felt very much at home. We would thoroughly recommend staying here."

"Chapter Two is right in the heart of Malton, close to shops & restaurants. The rooms are spacious, with quirky decor & immaculately clean. Chapter Two is a lively bar for a G&T or cocktail, the staff are very friendly. We cycled to Malton and were abke to store our bikes in the secure lobby throughout our stay. Can't recommend this place highly enough!"

Det var bar i resepsjonen, så det var hyggelig å kunne ta en øl og slå av en prat med betjeningen. Vi spiste en deilig middag om kvelden, variert meny av både mat og drikke. "Really great place to stay. We stayed in room located in what we think was the original stable yard. The room was immaculate and perfectly Set out. The bar/ restaurant was a great place to hang out with friendly staff and great food. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a small slice of beautiful Yorkshire on your travels. "
