We have been welcomed and not only we got fresh baked cookies, but all the hints to visit the city. The house is a masterpiece. The porch, the terraces and the interior were amazing. "The Marker 8 Hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay in St Augustine. Friendly Staff, delicious breakfasts, and great appetizers at the 5 pm social hour. The close proximity of the hotel to the historic district made it easy to enjoy the Nights of Lights on foot."

"Enjoyed our 1 nite stay. Pulled up to the inn,checked in, dropped bags then drove to the parking lot 1 short blk away. Room had spa tub & a comfy bed..great location for on foot sight-seeing. Breakfast for us was very good; other reviews said continental breakfast during the winter,but we had eggs Benedict, salad & were soo stuffed..skipped dessert! "

"My husband and I travelled from NS, Canada. We were pleasantly surprised with how friendly the staff were, how beautiful the view was, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Morning coffee on the dock was soothing and happy hour was so welcoming. Our room was clean and spacious and the Inn was quiet and safe.
