"I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Even if you have to pay an extra £60–£100, I would strongly advise choosing a different hotel. Here are the reasons why: Upon entering our room, we noticed black mould and strands of hair in several places. The room did not smell fresh or clean. The bed and pillows also appeared unclean, with hairs visible on the bedding. The corridors leading to the room had an unpleasant smell, and the carpets looked dirty and poorly maintained. "We were very disappointed with the breakfast, I booked and paid in advance of our stay which included an English breakfast but on arrival to the breakfast room it was continental only which was quite poor, only cut bread, only whole fruit no fresh fruit cocktail, meat's and cheese of poor quality, croissants and Danish pastries were crispy and dry. No evening restaurant food (Thursday), dirty mug left inte room, no milk in the room,I will not be staying here again."

"The friendliness of the staff is top-notch and everywhere is so clean. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there was a lack of vegan awareness. Although my meal on the first night was tasty it didn't include any protein. There were no vegan wines available but they kindly let me bring some vegan wine I had in the car in to have with my meal.
