"Great place to stay within walking distance to spectrum center "

"We were very disappointed in our stay this past weekend. Our room was terrible, the chair was stained, the lampshade was stained, the table was beat up, and the room had an awful smell to it. We were in and out of Charlotte for the weekend, and had a very busy itinerary, otherwise I would’ve tried to raise the concern and tried to get another room. I have heard that as an Expedia customer there are sometimes a few options in this area. But, I cannot recommend. The ceiling was peeling, the wallpaper was peeling. I took plenty of pictures, but in the end we just had to meet our obligations in the city for the weekend"

"We stayed for one night while visiting. 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Room had plenty of space for us, very clean, staff was friendly and food was great! We loved that it's walking distance to the Spectrum Center. Downside was parking is $30, but thats everywhere. I'm sure we will be back out next teip to Charlotte. "
