The good stuff: Nice pool area. Great breakfast. Easy to Uber from location.
The not-so-good stuff. Night 1 - huge roach crawled across the wall. This incident, they took care of right away, and upgraded us to a better room. Was dealt with swiftly and with great customer service. However, it was around 11pm, and climbed right into bed when we got to the suite.
Then....DAY 2: Got up and looked down at the bed, and realized there were pee stains all over the sheets that were NOT ours. Very gross to realize we just slept in urine stains. Let the front desk know, and was told they'd fix the problem. Get back from a long day exploring the city, and find the bed has NOT been changed. There were clean sheets folded and left for us in the room, but in a phone call to the front desk, we were told we should have requested them be put on the bed! ??? The rep said we would need to change the DIRTY STAINED SHEETS ourselves and make a new bed. I have NEVER heard of the before in ANY hotel stay! Explained we were paying customers, and shouldn't have to clean a dirty bed left by other guests. Then, the front desk said they were the only staff in the hotel, and would not be able to leave the front desk unless they could find someone to run it for them. So - we changed the gross sheets, and never heard from staff about it again. SO DISAPPOINTED. I've always loved staying in Fairfield Inns, but this experience has me questioning the Marriott brand.
