"The staff are truly amazing! AC in good shape, hotel is clean. Kitchen appliances could be upgraded but hey, it worked. Stove didn’t have the temps on them but we quickly learned where high was!! View and ease of walk to the beach and the lovely staff makes this our go to place!!! We’ve been twice so far this year and planning another trip in July. "

"We stayed on 5/19-5/21/24. The check-in was perfect. Lots of help, informative and kind staff. The room was clean with extra towels. A little musty due to the humidity but not the fault of hotel. Once the air was on it was fine. The pools were well maintained and the beach was right out front. Didn’t use restaurant. Parking wasn’t far. Had security at night idk about daytime wasn’t a problem. I would stay again. I like the family feel of Surfside. You’re going to have to drive either way to get to attractions. We had a great time. "

"My husband I greatly enjoyed our get away at Avista Resort! We three employees we would like to compliment, Maurice he was very helpful at 12 or 1 am one night when I TV would not work, he came up and reprogrammed it and showed us how to navigate it. Very friendly and professional. Bryan was the first employee that we came across when we arrived. He assisted the whole process of getting our luggage out. He offered to help take it upstairs so our room very friendly very helpful. Gave us a lot of useful information. there was also another employee we cannot remember her name. She was very tall African-American maybe Dominican lady she had a Dominican accent super super super nice lady. she helped us put our luggage in our car when we left, and she also helped us one time and we were coming back from an event. She was helping us with some stuff getting into our room and on the elevator, she helped assist us with getting towels and washcloths, very friendly, smiling very professional "

"GREAT STAY... GREAT STAFF.... THIS IS THE SECOND YEAR WE STAYED AT DUNES AND I HAVE NOT BEEN DISAPPOINTED.... I CAN'T BRAG ENOUGH ON THEIR LIZ IN HOUSEKEEPING... CUSTOMER RELATIONS IS HER TOP PRIORITY AND IT SHOWS.... SHE IS ALWAYS SO HELPFUL WITH US... WE TRAVEL WITH A SMALL CHILD AND MYSELF ON A MOBILITY SCOOTER... SHE IS ALWAYS THEIR TO HELP WITH ANYTHING... LITERALLY ANYTHING... "
