"Holiday Inn in Homestead was not very clean. Pink mold and toe nail clippings were in the bathroom. We were 4 people and were only given 2 bath towels both days. We had to go to the front desk for the other 2. I saw the room fee we were charged was much more than the fees that were posted on Expedia for the same weekend. This place was definitely not worth what we paid."

"I have stayed many times to visit my son who attends CMU. This hotel is closest one to the campus that surrounded with good restaurant options. It is about 5 to 10 mins walk to both CMU and Pitts. "

"If you are looking for accommodations to attend a sporting or cultural event in Pittsburgh, this conveniently located apartment is for you! While the furniture may not be from Ethan Allen, it was functional and the bed was comfortable (although one of the front shades needs to be repaired (it doesn’t release and can’t be pulled down and the handle on the shower faucet needs to be tightened). "This is the second time I have stayed at the Oaklander. The first time there were stains all over my sheets. They were changed. This time the pillows were wrinkled and did not smell fresh. I had to request new pillow cases. It’s a beautiful hotel but when they tell you they are inspecting your room before you go in beware, you better inspect it yourself. Housekeeping was very courteous when they changed the pillow cases. One bright point. Very disappointing for such a beautiful hotel."
