"The quality and friendliness of this hotel was up to its usual high standards. Good choice for breakfast, full English was tasty and filling. The only downside we found was the bar, poor service, selection of cocktails and some prices were expensive. To the point we found a lovely friendly wee pub 5 minutes from the hotel and chose to go there instead for drinks."

"At the reception desk, a man checked us in. Unfortunately I can’t remember his name. But he was just fantastic. Friendly & super helpful. He helped us carry our massive amount of luggage to our room. He told us he had multiple job titles for the hotel because he was also the bartender. The room was fairly small, but decorated nicely and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. "

"I do not typically leave reviews but felt compelled to do so after this stay as it was so good. The room was recently refurbished, immaculate and very tastefully decorated. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Wonderful quiet location in the countryside with lambs in the field outside your door for company. Then there is the breakfast, simply fantastic. Cooked to order and delivered in style to your room. Really cannot say enough about the room, the hosts, the location...
