"This is a tricky review to write as some things about Sweetfield Manor were very good but others were not. Firstly, the place advertises itself as a 5 star boutique hotel, boutique is correct, 5 star definitely not. The room itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with an excellent shower room. "Great property if dated but the rooms were clean and spacious as were the grounds. Our rooms were cleaned regularly too. The air conditioning worked in the bedroom. The pool was a big plus. Everything tidy and in order. The supermarket is within walking distance "

"Hotel staff were wonderful. The hotel itself is dated and needs upgrading. Room cleaning could be improved. Breakfast was good and had a good variety of food. The outdoor grounds, the pool and bar were well maintained. "

There was confusion over where to eat on the property. we went to eat at the beach restaurant and it was closing so they sent us to the restaurant in the building where we could only get a buffet. there was only 1 elevator and it was not working part of the day and we were on the 4th floor. Very confusing layout of rooms as there are different levels and staircasses to access the rooms. Nice beach area. "

"We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, the owner and onsite property manager were lovely to deal with and accomodated us. We were given clean sheets and 2 towels and the bed was made. It was comfortable, the pullout divan was stained and not comfortable, those things typically are not. The place had not been cleaned and there was no handsoap and little toilet paper. The outside area was very nice, the inside area is like a very rustic old north american cottage. Very old gas...

"Un petit hôtel charmant, les chambres sont grandes et donnent sur la mer. Le personel au petit soin spécialement Monique qui a rendu notre séjour inoubliable! Ce n’est pas de leur faute mais les restaurants autour sont très très bruyants le soir, cela ne nous a pas dérangés mais prévoyez les boules quies. En journée c’est un havre de paix réveillé au bruit des vagues et une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer. Nous espérons revenir très vite."
