"We spent our last 3 out of 10 days at the Fairmont El San Juan Hotel after spending time on the West Coast with family. The Lobby vibe was great with live entertainment all weekend. People of all ages and backgrounds, including singles to families, all enjoying the festivities. The pools are also great with excellent service. The entrance to the beach from the hotel makes it very convenient for beach lovers. Our two mid teen boys enjoyed the basketball courts, gym and pools. However, there was not much for them to do during the evening hours. The hotel is a bit on the pricey side but worth it given convenience and service. I would definitely consider coming back in the future."

"We have stayed here three times each time for an anniversary or just a trip. Each time has been beautiful and would highly recommend. The amenities are beautiful and makes for a relaxing stay. I will say this last time we visited we didn’t have the greatest customer service. At check in we weren’t greeted as we have been before, luggage was not assisted with, and no cart. We also called for carts multiple times and would be passed. However, we understand things happen and really loved our stay otherwise. With a beach right on the resort it makes it hard to leave. I would recommend!"
Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino - All Inclusive

"This all-inclusive resort has a lot to offer however they need to retrain the stuff on hospitality. The staff throughout the resort seemed annoyed to be at work and weren’t very hospitable.. I visited mid July and obviously the weather was amazing but very humid and the air-conditioning system throughout the resort just wasn’t enough to combat the humidity obviously in bigger open areas. It’s understandable if the air conditioner is not as strong, but in some bars and even in your room, the air conditioner just cannot keep up."

"This is a party Resort and loved it. The foam pool party, the White party, the pink party all of them were amazing. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Of course there's also peaceful pools and places to hang out if you don't want to be part of the fun but I highly recommend you go to one of them. You won't regret. The Beach was full of sargassum but this is nature not the resort fault. The staff also sell you excursions and we booked the $120 per person to go to Saona Island. We really enjoyed that trip. This is better than purchasing from outside because this way doesn't stop at multiple resorts picking up people. They also stop at blue lagoon where you can take pictures of the starfish ( do not take them out of the water). Bring lots of singles and fives dollars to tip staff. The food was delicious in every restaurant but our favorite was Mangu restaurant where Matías and Daniel made us feel so special. We even exchanged phone numbers after because we truly going to miss them. Thank you everyone for making this the greatest vacation ever."
