A lovely hotel, close to restaurants, the Canal, parks, and Carcassonne train station. It even has an elevator/lift, which is a real bonus.

Fantastic stay. The room was as expected for a three star hotel, but the staff are incredibly generous and kind. After our train leaving was cancelled due to a strike, they allowed us to come back and store our bags and offered us the room to use, as it had not been cleaned yet. Very comforting to have people like this as our hosts.

Would stay there again

A simple and quite old hotel but everything was very clean, the bed was comfy and most importantly the aircon worked perfectly even if it was extremely hot outside. The location was also excellent: 5 minutes walk from the railwaystation and 20 minutes walk from from the cité medieval.

Great location. We paid for breakfast and there was an amazing selection. Our room had a huge terrace outside which was prefect for us. Room was nice but we found the bed too hard and uncomfortable.

I would come here every trip it's lovely

I have stayed here before, and find it really safe, friendly and comfortable. It is really close to the railway station, and to the centre of town. The people who work there are very knowledgeable and kind. My room looked out onto a quiet courtyard full of light, so it was very peaceful. All in all a very reasonably-priced hotel and nice people who run it. Free coffee and tea in the room, too!

This hotel is what it is. Low-cost, but very tired hotel. It’s close to the station and town. Eminently walkable to Carcassonne Medieval City. I had an afternoon in Carcassonne. After getting off the train, I wanted to leave my bags there and see the town. I then had a meal, go to sleep, and wake up early the next day to catch a train. It was perfect for my needs. Not a place for romantic weekend away. No doubt, I could have paid three times what I did and stayed somewhere new. But I saved the money for other trips

The staff were exceptional helpful and friendly. I had a muddle with my booking, my own fault, and the person at reception sorted it without me even needing to ask. She also lent me an umbrella when it rained a bit. The room was also very nice, with a comfortable bed and a very big nicely decorated bathroom. The road is not at all interesting but very near a ruly beautiful church and the main street and square.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small, but adequate. Although close to the train station and a 5 minute walk to a square with several restaurants, the hotel itself is not in the best area. Nothing around it and rather run down with lots of vacant buildings. 30 minute walk to the Cite. Very affordable. Adequate, but not exceptional.

It was bitterly cold… And I was delayed by wintry weather in Manchester Airport and arrived much later than expected… The hotel staff responded by email to my email telling them that I would be late… And had prepared my room with an oil filled radiator pumping away at 24 C when I arrived….wonderful service …for which many thanks to the courteous and considerate staff.

It was very easy to get to the hotel from the station and the workers were very kind and helpful. The furniture in the room is old and dated but overall I can’t complain as it matches the reasonable cost per night. My room had a quite strong chemical smell but not sure what it could have been from…

The location was close to the train station. Walkable distance to to the main sights. The staff are friendly. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had all the amenities one would need such as an electric water kettle and a hair dryer. I enjoyed my stay there.
