The room is spotless and everything looks brand new. It was also very close to all of the attractions I was looking for. The only problem was they are redoing the sidewalks and we had to walk in the street or take an alternate route.

The Boarding House was so cute. The room was gorgeous and had everything we needed. This was also our first time traveling with our dog, and it was a seamless process. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. We ended up getting engaged on this trip so the memory is even more special to us!

This is an amazing property. Unfortunately the town decided to tear up the street at 6:50 am! What a wake up call. Oh well…

We brought our dog with us for the first time while traveling. While I was a little weary about this the boarding house eased my worries as they're extremely dog friendly! The staff was great and very accommodating. Anyone who is planning a trip to Cape May with their dogs would be foolish not to stay at the Boarding House.

Not all restorations need to be Victorian!
It was lovely to stay at this beautifully restored mid century modern hotel. The decor is simple and very coastal with ship lat walls and planked floors. The amenities are too many to list. The beds and linens - were uber comfortable. The bathroom shower was a luxury and so was the pour over coffee. We brought two mugs home wit us. Parking is not easy so get there close to check in if you can. And plan to leave your car. We walked into town in just a few minutes every day.

We LOVED our stay in Cape May, and the Boarding House was a big part of that. Great location - VERY walkable to everything on the shore. Clean, quiet, and the rooftop deck is a nice addition! The staff was tremendous from pre-booking through the stay itself. I think the only possible critical thing I would have to say is in reference to the parking, which isn't really in their control. It's tight, and each room gets 1 space. If one person doesn't park correctly, it's an issue. However, on street parking is right there, and I wouldn't have any safety / crime concerns at all.

Couldn’t ask for a more hospitable place to stay in Cape May than The Boarding House. Truly focused on hospitality and customer experience. Not only was the vibe super cool and casual making it a perfect beach getaway but our room was also clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Charming hotel
My husband and I had a great stay at the Boarding House Cape May. We especially loved the pour-over coffee in the rooms and the bikes for borrowing.

A quiet retreat on Cape May
Lovely little gem tucked away on a quiet street. Beautifully appointed, upscale casual, quiet and restful. Close to everything, with a sense of privacy. Even made our little dog feel special. They thought of everything! Will stay again for sure.

Great place to stay
We are repeat customers, the place is great & so are the hosts. The rooms are spotless. Excellent comfort bed & pillows in fact I ordered all the same pillows for my own home after staying there the first time.

Our room was cozy, clean and comfortable. I love that there was on-site parking and the keyless entry. The morning basket of goodies was much appreciated. I wish the weather had been nicer so we could have tried out the rooftop bar.

This place is a gem! My husband and I pass by this place driving, and I would always say one of these days we have to stay there. I'm so glad we did because it is fabulous. The rooms are clean, it's pet friendly, the beds are so comfortable. I have nothing but great things to say about staying at the Boarding House. We will definitely be staying again soon.

My mom and I were thrilled with every aspect of our experience with The Boarding House. The decor, check-in/check-out process, complimentary happy hour and breakfast basket, gift items in the main office, and the eco-friendly aspects of the property. The location is also outstanding, especially if plan on dining at The Washington Inn, which is only a block away. We would absolutely go back and I will be recommending it to anyone visiting Cape May, especially in the off-season.

My stay was lovely at the Boarding House!!!! I can't wait to return. The property is brand new with quality amenities from their toiletries, in room coffee, to their lobby treats including nitro brew! The management and staff are friendly, helpful and a pleasure to meet and chat with 😀. The location is perfect, oit the door and your steps away from restaurants, coffee shops, the Acme, and a short run to the beach. I literally ran to see the sunrise during my stay. It made my stay in Cape May the perfect getaway.

We stayed just for a night. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable beds. My only complaint was the parking. My SUV is very large. People did not park properly. So therefore I had to make a spot by the bike racks!! Otherwise 5 stars!!

Room was very clean always a plus. Could park and walk to the outdoor mall and dining ,very convenient ! Couldn’t find my access code at check in and office was closed had the call emergency no. and it was a quick fix. Would definitely stay again.

When I arrived, it was after I had been working at a local wedding at a vineyard. I didn't have internet service outside of the hotel, but the office was closed (it was 8:45pm) so I found a note suggesting I find a room code in an email. This proved difficult since I didn't have web service without WiFI, so I had to call another building owned by the same company to get the code... meanwhile some other guests were sitting nearby whose dog was protectively barking at me while I was trying to get into my room. My television set was stuck on one channel but the very kind but also tech-struggling person couldn't help me. All in all, it's a cute place - lovely details inside, but overpriced and not well supported by staff.
