"The four poster bed room was a nice touch. We hadn't realised there was a hot tub, so that was a nice touch. We didn't use the bar and outdoor seating, but they looked nice. We were quite impressed with breakfast too. "

"Small single room, nicely decorated and simply furnished. Fabulous view of the cathedral. The place is clean and quiet, I loved it and when I can afford it I will definitely stay again. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was also really nice and the dining room is very calm and comfortable. One little niggle, the shower was very small and not very powerful. "

"Toilet had to pump handle to get it to flush, sink didn't drain quickly so obviously blocked . Should have been picked up by anyone cleaning the room. 1 plug socket and no where near bed. coffee machine at breakfast constantly needed maintainance by staff - saying needed cleaning so didn't enjoy coffee knowing that. hopefully all these issues will be resolved after the upgrade - didnt bother the staff on sunday as had to get to work and upgrade already in progress. "
