"Reception was awesome, and the suite was huge (although the bathroom door opens directly right in front of the toilet). The only thing that made the stay less than perfect was the pounding on the floor overhead after midnight, but I don't know if hotel management could predict that. The location is near the Canadian history museum and the Alexandra pedestrian and vehicle bridge, the other side of which is near the US embassy and Bytown. "

"The suite was very clean and appropriately set up for a family of 4. Location is very convenient, a few minutes walk from Lyon Station and an approx. 15 minutes walk to Parliament. The included buffet breakfast was a hit with the kids, and a great way to start the day. The hotel is located in an area with many government buildings, so it is quiet and away from the more busy nightlife area by Rideau Station. "

"Room was amazing and clean, staff was very attentive as well as super friendly and always willing to help anytime, absolutely LOVED our gold level lounge too! Super yummy breakfast, amazing spread including smoked salmon and we loved the finger foods they had in the evening as well as the desserts after that!! Such an amazing experience overall, super happy we chose to book this for our 20th Anniversary!!"

"As soon as you walk in you feel you are in an upscale hotel. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is easy to navigate. We particularly loved, the pool, the hot tub, the sauna room. There is also inside access to the Rideau Mall. Our room had a beautiful view of Parliament which was a really great view as the sun was setting. We will be back for sure. "
