The whole atmosphere of the house and the surrounding area but also the rooms, breakfast, music during breakfast and the discreet but perfect service (not to intrusive) makes you feel like being in a grand hotel of the last century. "From the front desk staff to maid service to the shuttle van driver, everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was great to have a shuttle van as our flight was early in the morning. Breakfast was pleasing and had a good selection. I enjoyed the coffee machine which was able to make espressos, cappuccinos, Americano’s or Doppio’s. My wife liked the tea selection as well.. "Our room was stiflingly hot and the staff did nothing to assist. They told us to open the window, despite having a sign posted to not open windows because some nasty looking bugs would come in. They refused to credit us any amount at all and only paid the €10 for our shuttle to the airport to compensate us."
