"Amazing views and nice to have a pool, owners are very friendly. The downsides are you will need a car as it’s up steep hills also air con did not work at all and neither did the WiFi properly."

"The residence is around 25–30 minutes above Lecco and offers stunning scenery, peaceful surroundings, friendly staff, and a freshly cooked breakfast made to order. The online reviews are accurate, and both the hotel and previous guests strongly recommend travelling by car, as taxis can cost €35–45 each way and many firms are reluctant to travel up to the property. Returning after a day exploring the area and watching the sunset from high above was truly relaxing. One thing to note is that the hotel does not serve dinner, and there are no nearby restaurants, so it is important to eat before returning in the evening. During our stay, which was shortened from two nights to one due to other commitments, we unfortunately discovered a large number of ants riddled all over the bathroom and living area of our room late at night after returning from a long day out. The owner did what they could by arranging for housekeeping to vacuum them up, but it appeared to be an issue that had happened before, likely coming through cracks between the bathroom tiles and walls. While we understand the property is located on a farm, we did not expect ants inside the bedroom. Despite this unfortunate experience, the property is lovely overall, and I would stay again — next time for longer to enjoy more of the surroundings and the hotel itself."

"Park Hotel is an ideal affordable location on Lake Como, just a 5 minute walk from Abbadia Lariana train station. So, great if you don’t have a car. Minimal shops near by and only 1 restaurant. Needed to go to Lecco for a supermarket, but that’s easy on a train. We weren’t aware that the electronic Do Not Disturb button was faulty until day 3, hence why our room was not being cleaned. One male concierge was graciously helpful to sort this out, but on the 2nd occasion in providing clean linen/emptying the bins but the the female concierge wasn’t. Nor did she make note of the broken bathroom lock, when informed. We had a lakeside room which was a great view, however the room gets the afternoon sun. Despite the glass thickness and heavy duty curtains, the air conditioner in the room cannot cool the room. I did request it be checked which the concierge did take note of, but nil success in it working efficiently. Suitable location/hotel if travelling as a solo female."

"Our one night stay at the hotel was easily our favorite night of our two week trip. The room was absolutely stunning, everything was clean and every little detail of the room lay out, the dinner menu at the hotel restaurant, and the staff met every expectation and beyond. We had trouble getting a taxi to and from the hotel because we happened to be there on May 1st, and the staff at the front desk spent a lot of time and effort calling taxis for us so we didn’t miss our flight back home. Every staff member was incredibly kind and pleasant to interact with. I’m honestly sad we didn’t stay there longer. Thank you!! "

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They have a communal lounge area where you can hang out and grab a drink, patio tables outside, and a restaurant that on its own is worth the visit. The breakfast was amazing and very filling. Rooms are serviced every day. Our apartment was comfortable with everything we needed. We chose to walk to and from the lake and although steep in parts, it is totally doable. There is a dedicated path so you aren’t walking on the road. They also offered to shuttle us which came in handy when we needed to catch our train the last day. We would definitely stay here again. "
