Hotels near Calypso Cove Aquatic Facility

"Elevator out of order the entire week, causing terrible delays. Imagine a hotel with one elevator restricting rides to 6 people? Horrible! Beds/"

"This is a nice resort with multiple amenities including pools, mini golf, volleyball and more. However, our room was in a bldg around the corner from the main location, outside of their gated areas, in a smaller and older building than the main property. This meant we had to drive to the main property to enjoy the amenities These rooms were very dated, cozy, but dated and could have been cleaned better. The sink and tub had hair in them, the jetted tub looked like it was installed in the 70s and just looked really worn and not sanitary so we didnt even use it as a bath tub. Walls had marks on them, baseboards and corners dusty, rings on furniture, it just overall didnt feel that clean or upkept This building also didnt have an elevator, luckily my husband was with me to carry up the luggage to the 2nd floor but if I had been alone, or elderly theres no way I could've carried my luggage up the steep stairs. The tub is also extremely high and hard to get in and out of, no grab bar in place either which seems really dangerous The ice machine in the freezer also didnt work The 2 tvs had basic channels, but were not smart tvs, again not a deal breaker but current technology in hotels is a huge plus The bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly, the room itself was ok for a short stay but if you are going to book here id highly recommend requesting being on the main property"

"The beds and the sleeping area were fine, the bathroom was atrocious. Didn't even feel comfortable showering in that bathroom. There were people outside blasting music and just hanging out. Didn't feel very safe there."

"The pool and spa were very nice amenities. Room was pretty clean and cold for good sleep. The staff were friendly and offered details about marriot amenities. The breakfast buffet was yummy!"

"COCKROACHES in my room. I’ve ever experienced that in my life. And not palmetto Florida bugs. Kitchen roaches. Rotting food in the hallways that stayed there from Saturday to Tuesday. Floors are all stained disgustingly. Felt like a third world country , not America. Rude manager who offered 25 percent off ONE night stay. 25 dollars for living with roaches ? Insulting , and a joke. He didn’t even call back after I complained with the front desk, I had to call. He had attitude in his voice. Place stunk!!! Grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. People screaming and fighting at all hours of the night. One room had an alarm clock ringing for 3 days straight. Worst hotel experience of my life. Please never bring your family here."
