"The standard double room was much smaller than expected, and the bed was two singles pushed together with a thin double topper, which made the bed very uncomfortable and lumpy. We told reception after the first night and they arranged for a better topper to be put on. If the standard double was this small then the small double must have been tiny. "This hotel has no air conditioning, which made my room like a sauna, the shower was really weak, they also charge for parking. The breakfast was decent, as we're the staff. Overall a dated building that has had a bit of a makeover, but no air conditioning on a hot day/night I would not stay here."
