"We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.! "

"I went at the end of season but car park with the hostel was available and easy access. Room was en-suite which I wasn't expecting for a hostel but made the stay so much easier and hospitable. a large group staying there at same time but no noise from them, made an enjoyable stay"

"We stayed in room 6 which was clean and comfortable with a comfy bed, room was warm when we returned back. Check out was 11am, breakfast room was lovely, great choice of continental breakfast from cereal, toast to croissants and pain au chocolates, tea and coffee. Will definitely be back "

"This was my 3rd brief stay.Each time,I have been welcomed & made to feel my visit matters to reception & waiting & bar staff. The room is chosen to protect me from the live music in the bar ,as I have requested .The rooms are very clean even if the carpet is a bit well -trodden.As a woman on my own, I have felt comforted by the friendly & helpful attitudes of everyone i have come across during my stays. "This was a great experience. Friendly staff. Indian restaurant was amazing. Great service and will definitely stay again. Things to remember, they don't do breakfast but there are cafes and a hotel across the road for breakfast. The room was clean and well stocked for staying but a little dated. Very comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend this hotel "

"This community owned and run Inn is fantastic. The staff and locals are friendly and could not be more welcoming. The bedrooms are large and well appointed and quiet. The chefs do a great job producing excellent home cooked meals. The only thing to remember is that they don’t serve evening meals on Monday or Tuesday but as there are other places locally this was not an issue."

"On smaller loch ard, near Loch Lomond, this hotel is off the beaten path. It’s beautiful and peaceful with amazing views of the water from every window. The hosts are so welcoming and we wish we would have planned to stay longer. They also saved us a lot of driving time by letting is know of a road closure that wasn’t on google maps. The food was good also but I can’t say enough about the hospitality."

"Great place to stay. We stayed in a Mongolian yurt, which was a unique experience, like glamping. The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. Overall, it's a great place for people who want to escape soulless hotel chains and create sweet memories."

"Room clean. Towels thick, white and fluffy. Staff really nice and food in the Kailyard restaurant was excellent. Only downside was there was a problem with the heating so we were cold for the first 24 hours, but small heaters everywhere and engineers dealt with it"
