"The only issue we had was the way we drove in from the 101 coming from north it was very difficult. Don’t come in that way. Other than that, the place is beautiful and the people are very helpful and sweet."

"Loved everything about our stay. We can’t wait to go back. Charming and quaint yet modern amenities. Really appreciated the goodies from the bakery left outside our door every morning. Location was perfect. A quick drive in either direction and we were either in yountville, st Helena, Calistoga, etc. or the other direction, in downtown Napa in minutes. The staff was super friendly. We did a private tasting on the property which we decided to do last minute and they got us booked immediately. ...

"Hotel checkin was great. I received glass of lineup on check in.And because our room was not ready. We were granted access to the pool area.
We received upgraded rooms, which were fabulous.Even larger than the ones we booked with very nice outdoor shower bathtub and fire pit. The staff was very accommodative, and we felt well taken care of."
"My wife and I decided at the last minute to visit wine country, and she found this property and booked it immediately for our weekend getaway. It turned out to be the perfect choice.
Its location in Calistoga made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. We decided to splurge on some local experiences and even dined at a Michelin-rated restaurant in St. Helena, which was just a short drive away.
The property has limited parking, but there seemed to be enough spaces for all the guests. We had no trouble finding parking, even when we returned late in the evening.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, even offering us a couple of cookies when we arrived. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea available in the lobby.
Overall, we had an amazing stay. The property was comfortable, conveniently located, and made for a wonderful weekend in Napa Valley. We would definitely stay here again."
"Without a doubt, Four Seasons provides top notch experience in every aspect, but I would like to stress how professional and high standard the service that we received there. All the staff was extremely courteous. It was a wonderful getaway!"
"We had originally booked a smaller room on the more hotel side and upgraded to a nicer king bedroom with the wood panel wall.
The small rooms are fine for those looking for a motel/budget option but if you need more space, definitely spend more $. The bigger rooms are leaps and bounds nicer. We also were missing a screen door on the smaller room so couldn’t open the window at night to let air in. The a/c was nice though on a scorching hot weekend! Pool was nice, pizza at restaurant was disappointing, overall grounds were well kept, staff was accommodating, definitely will be back."
"The cabins were very quiet, which was very nice. The beds were very, very comfortable.
When we first entered the space, there was an odd smell to the cabin. It eventually went away, but it seemed to be cleaning chemicals or something.
There were some oranges and cutting board on a table, and it was a little odd. I might suggest just having a nice basket of fruit instead. The cutting board and knife was odd.
I marked them down on maintenance because the shower door was broken. I feel that this would be an easy fix. We also had to get out of bed each time we wanted to use the TV remote. For some reason the remote would only work from behind the TV."
UpValley Inn & Hot Springs Napa Valley, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I had a great stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out easy. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which made the room very comfortable. Parking was convenient, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this property to other travelers."
"Our stay at Okaeri Hotel was truly one of the most memorable travel experiences my wife and I have ever had.
The co-owner personally welcomed us and gave us a tour of the property while sharing its fascinating history. That personal touch immediately made us feel at home and added so much character to our stay.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The garden is peaceful and meticulously maintained, and the indoor lounge is unlike anything we’ve seen before—it features a stunning swimming pool that has been transformed into a large koi pond, with each koi fish even having its own name! The hotel also has a fun karaoke lounge, beautifully renovated rooms, and a relaxing Japanese-style soaking tub.
The entire property reminded us of the elegant Japanese home featured in the Drops of God Apple TV+ series, complete with an impressive wine cellar that adds to the hotel’s unique charm.
To top it all off, breakfast the next morning was exceptional—a delicious three-course meal thoughtfully prepared by the chef. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
This was, without question, the best hotel experience my wife and I have ever had. We can’t wait to return and bring our friends and family so they can experience it for themselves. Okaeri Hotel deserves a perfect 10/10. Highly recommended!"
