Initially I was a little concerned booking this property because it had no reviews on Expedia, but I was traveling with a group if 5 and needed at least 4 bedrooms. This option was in the Downtown Cairo area and was priced great, as well as had the bedrooms we required - it's also HUGE. When I reached out to Salah, the owner of the property, he was more than accommodating and very responsive. This property is in a superb location. It was walking distance to tons of shops, restaurants, bank etc. It is truly right in the heart of Cairo and a great price for what you get!

Uniquely enough, this property was not hotel, but an apartment conveniently located in the downtown area of Cairo, a rare occurrence in Expedia. What I liked most about this apartment is that it had two bedrooms, each equipped with beds, and two separate washrooms. Such a structure was ideal for me and my colleague, who visited the city for conference purposes. Also, guys on the first floor were very kind, but be prepared that communication with them can be quite limited if you do not speak Arabic. The lady, who seemed to be the manager of the property, does not have a good command of English, either. Another thing of note is that heating does not work in this apartment, so bundle up either in the common area or in bed.
