Hotel berdekatan Taman Negara Cairngorms

"The shower didn’t work and there was no hot water so showering was in a dribble of cold water. We did tell the girl on reception but never got fixed. The room was economy so maybe other rooms are better but if you want to close the door while on the toilet then defo pay more. Can’t watch tv in bed as it’s around the corner. The staff were lovely though just didn’t solve the problem and a shower is a must especially in 25 degree heat"

"A really nice old building. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, particularly the lady and young guy at breakfast (exception was the slightly snippy receptionist who we met on arrival - we never saw her again after that, perhaps a temp?). Our room was a cosy double - it was certainly cosy and quite small, but decor was nice and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent - the coffee machine was great, but the instructions were only in English and the German people in front of us had...

"The room was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was delicious! For some reason, many of the places we stayed (including this one) did not provide conditioner. Not a huge deal, but thought I’d note for future guests. It is a cute small town and convenient to hiking destinations. Also note there is not central air and the windows do not open more than a few inches, so on hot days, the room gets very stuffy. Not the fault of the hotel, though!"
