"Very cozy place"

"Incredible family run place with a lot of charm. Everything is thought through and the rooms very well equipped. Right by the beach and very accessible. I found it a bonus as well as it was very close to the trail that leads up to Boggy Peak (aka Mount Obama) and one can do hike up to the summit and back within 3 or 4 hours. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything has been perfect for my stay here."

"We had a wonderful vacation overall and made some great memories, but this resort has room for improvement before it can truly be considered a 5-star experience. In all fairness, the current General Manager has only recently taken over, so I’m hopeful the property will be better managed and many of these issues will be addressed. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and the size of the resort is just right—not too large and not too small. Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing....

"Seaweed smell due to tractor being broken and beach not being cleared. There was loud construction in the lobby, only 2 restaurants were open our entire stay, had to switch rooms due to pungent smell of seaweed. New room had brown-tinged water one morning, and no blanket or comforter on bed. The bedding consisted of pillow, flat sheet, and fitted sheet. No blanket or anything. There was no activities at the resort, water was dark and beach was unusable due to seaweed. Again tractor was...

"We stayed there 10 days apart, during which they changed companies. The new company makes you wear a wristband for the WHOLE stay— charging you if you take it off! There were bullet holes in the ceiling above the bed, and the ceiling tiles in the bathroom had mold. The surfaces you touch were clean and the bed was comfortable enough (not great). Although it’s no smoking, there is smoking on the balconies and it smells like ganja. Early check in and late check out were appreciated, and the staff...

"Jolly beach was a beautiful stay. The staff at the resort is so nice, the rooms were clean and had a wonderful patio view. Pros - its the best beach on the island! The food is great and the drinks are great. The pools and atmosphere are so nice, you really do not need to leave the resort. Cons - its not the most modern stay (which my family did not mind at all), if this is what youre looking for. I would recommend and would definitely come back!"

The poor level of service and hospitality we received at this property has tarnished our view of the Marriot brand. The lack of regard for guests and their experience was deplorable. Exceptional hospitality is one of the reasons we choose to stay at this property, but this experience fell well below those expectations. "We loved our stay at Hawksbill. The food was excellent for an AI property. The king bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We had a garden view room, mini fridge stocked with drinks (2 beers, 2 OJ's, 2 cokes, 2 sprites and 2 waters) and room cleaned daily. The beaches on the property were top notch. "Beautifully manicured grounds on arrival. Easy parking outside our cottage. Good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. Well appointed kitchenette and we had to ask for just a couple of essential items. Nice balcony surrounded by trees. However, one of the cats was a real problem coming onto the balcony and leaving mess on the couch. Heavy music from a nearby property was a problem on occasions.
