There was a problem with hot water in the shower, it comes and goes or else you have to turn off the shower for a few minutes then on again to have hot water. Soo aggravating! Noise in the hallway at 1:30 am which I could not sleep, people were talking loudly. Very inconsiderate. They charged me 150 pesos per handtowel, it did not come with the room rate except the towels. I’m not going to stay in that hotel anymore!

I just have to send kodus to their security guard! He does a fine job and offers assistance! I love the location, the convenience and the amenities- will come back for future stay

Try call the hotel for 2 days and no one at the front desk picked up.even expedia assistant try calling them to let them know that I would be arriving at their hotel a day late because of a typhoon. But no one pick up the phone at the front desk for me or Expedia assistant. This is definitely a 3 star hotel the breakfast is bad out of everything

I always have a nice comfortable stay here when I travel to Butuan. Comfortable bed the food is fantastic. Staff is respectful and attentive. Restaurant staff is excellent. My only choice of hotels when I’m in town.

A lovely place to relax
Watergate is a lovely modern hotel which provides a great environment for relaxing. The restaurant (Lime & Zest) is amazing, serving a great selection of meal options.

The pool is wonderful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The restaurant offers great meal options. It is a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

I love the environment is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. What i don't like was the drinking water only limit to 3 bottles per day which is a bit hard for me and my kid because he need to have his milk hot and also making hot his food which require quite amount of water

First of all, the staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and security personnel, were all great. However, the room was small, the bed was not comfortable, and if you’re a smoker, the designated smoking area is literally a 4 minute walk from your room, partially down an outside street; very questionable from the standpoint of both safety and convenience. The restaurant is limited in quality and options. There are better options in town.

I had a cozy & comfortable stay at Watergate Hotel, room was very clean & well maintained. Facilities were new, I love the breakfast offered it was generous, everyday the menu is diff. which I liked so much. The crews were so friendly & easy to reach. They communicate well. I would definitely come back here again with my husband. I did not regret I booked this hotel, satisfied customer here from New York keep up the good work. The place is a gem.

No hot water? I was surprised to find out there was not hot/warm water in the evening or in the morning in our room... also, and No elevator. Lime Zest Restaurant was VERY GOOD!!! Very large menu including foreign items that were quite good. Wifi was iffy and weak..

Decent location, nice rooms, and nice front desk staff. My issue is I left my earbuds behind and they somehow could not find them. I know the buds were in the room so someone is enjoying their new earbuds. Very annoyed with this.

The front desk staff needs to improve her customer relations. She is very cold and does not even smile. When I asked for a spare room key since she only gave me one. Her reply was: "we don't have spare key as of the moment." Unbelievable!
