"We were in a room on the first floor and the smell was horrible! It smelt like cat urine in the hallways and in our room. You could also smell some sort of chemical that was fairly strong from the maintenance being done. There was stuff all over the floor in the halls as well. We could hear everything out in the hallway, and above us. Overall, if the smells weren’t so bad and the noise level wasn’t bad then it would be decent. The bed was comfy but not worth the money."

"My wife and I traveled nearly 3,000 miles from California to celebrate our anniversary at the Williamsburg Inn because of the exceptional experiences we had here in the past. Sadly, this stay was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had. Our room was not ready at check-in, and we waited over an hour. "There were ants in my room and never saw housekeeping to mention it or get help. I was never given wifi info The spa refused me my anemities and guest services/spa manager never got back up with me to get a resolution (this was a problem going back to check in). The location was fantastic! I love that Jefferson lived there and it was centrally located! One of the smallest bathrooms in a colonial house. They do use a lot of bleach.
