"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Cedars. Host was super friendly and breakfast was always delicious. Room was clean. The only thing that I think needs attention was our bathroom. The shower could use a good spray for mildew and the drain cover is not attached to anything. But other than that I would recommend this place."

"The location was great, and the staff was wonderful. We used the indoor pool, which was a lot of fun for the kids after a long day of touring. The breakfast was nice. The rooms were comfortable, but maybe a little smaller than I expected. Parking was plentiful and convenient."

The place itself is charming and they always have drinks and snacks available in their quaint dining area, as well as delicious breakfast options. "Staff was great, very friendly. Everything was very clean - rooms, bathrooms, dining area, etc. and all of the basic essentials were supplied (soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer). They gave us each a bottle of water at check in which was nice and the pool area looked nice, we just never had time to enjoy it because we were busy. Breakfast was great - a good selection of items and everything was yummy. The elevators and hallways are stuffy and have an odd smell, probably because the room air...

"We had a great stay here. Like the other reviews indicate, the property is rather outdated and the breakfast has been discontinued. There doesn't seem to be heat in the rooms, but they also don't say that they have heat in the listing, only AC, which was great for us. The staff was very nice and you really can't beat the price and location. The only time we used our car was to go to Yorktown. There is a breakfast place right beside the hotel and we walked to 2nd St Bistro down the road twice....

"The breakfast was ok. Eggs, bacon,sausage sometimes biscuits. No potatoes or grits. Cereals, muffins and bread for toast. Juice, coffee and yogurt. The coffee was very weak to the point that I could taste the cream over the coffee even after a staff member changed it. Otherwise it was ok."

"If you're just staying a few nights, this place is sufficient for the price. Bed was comfortable. We had a mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom needed some repairs - the ceiling was falling apart and the room could use a good deep clean. The pool wasn't open yet, so we weren't able to use it. Overall, for the price it was okay. If we just need to stay one night, we will probably stay here again. Workers were nice, breakfast had a nice variety (yogurt, waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, juices)....
