"We were amazed with the condition of this 100-year-old property! The functional areas are beautifully and tastefully restored and the traditional areas are perfectly maintained. All staff members were extremely friendly and professional, and they were eager to assist in every request. Front office staff, maid service, baggage handlers, restaurant staff were all exceptional. Our stay could not have been better, unless it had been much longer!!"

They then put me in a double queen room which honestly was probably better for the fact they only give you 3 pillows per bed even the kings so my wife and I actually got 3 a piece so that was nice. "Check in staff during the evening was great. Staff in the morning was rude. Not bed bugs but other bugs like moths and spiders in room and bed. Bathroom shower was not clean and neither were some of the blankets on the beds. "First of all, after a 5 hour drive with two toddlers in bad weather, the room we got was NOT what we booked. I booked a suite with a pullout sofa bed. There were two double beds. I had to make a bed for my grandsons on the floor. I was told there were none of those rooms available (even though that’s what I paid for).
