"The elevator was painfully slow. The breakfast could be a better price. Other than that, the staff were very helpful. Room was fantastic. Very clean property. Would never know pets are allowed. All in all 9.7 out of 10. Will definitely use again when in the area on business again."

"It is a shame at one time this was probably a lovely hotel. But it is being let go. The grass was not cut. Trash cans were not emptied. Our room was clean. The bathroom and the room itself. And the eating area for breakfast was maintained. But elevators were filthy. The carpeting in the hallway had food and paper when we arrived on Thursday and when we left Saturday it was still all there. The pool area is being let go. The pool itself was clean. It's just so sad you know someone is just taking...

"The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The iron did not get hot and the shower did not drain. There was one luggage rack in the room with 2 queens beds. There were 3 of us in the room. Need to address these short comings. The staff was friendly."

"The room was a nice size. The bathroom had some small square tiles out of their spaces. But everything worked. Breakfast opened later than the posted time. It was the same as all other continental breakfast. Small muffins, coffee, cereal, bagels, cream cheese in a container for everyone to use, OJ, milk, and granola bars."

"I had a very nice four night stay. The Inn is beautiful and so comfortable. Easy parking, great location, fantastic restaurant. I will definitely stay here again."

"Great experience. Historic like hotel. Will book again. Clean room and bathroom was renovated. Friendly staff. Helped me to bring my bag up stairs. I had dinner at the restaurant with live music. Delicious food and a taste of American culture through the locals and their music. Lovely evening! The ride from Longwood Gardens to the hotel is gorgeous and takes about half hour."

"The ceiling/floors are very poorly insulated for sound so you hear every step from your neighbors above. It is so loud it almost seems amplified in the wall space. It's a shame because the hotel is otherwise nice. But this sound issue is so bad it is almost a joke. Completely unacceptable."

"The room was as good as the ones in luxury hotels, but I walk with a rollator and it would not fit in the bathroom. The buildings are from 1950 and 1970 and are odd and dated seeming, but interesting in a way. The place is not ADA compliant by any means, and we are handicap, but we managed. The view from the room was wonderful, although with a huge casino in the center of it."
