"We really enjoyed our stay at 1898 The Post. We stayed in a "Postcard" room, which was small but comfortable and very charmingly decorated. I don't know if all the Postcard rooms are laid out the same way, but ours had the shower/bathroom sink in an upstairs loft area, and the toilet in a separate small closet downstairs near the bed and desk. This was not a problem for us, but might be for others who have difficulty with stairs. Very convenient location near the Gravensteen Castle. We didn't...

"Friendly staff, comfy quiet room. Plenty charging points. Cups were small but glad to have kettle and facilities for hot drinks. Hairdryer available and good hanging for clothes. Breakfast fresh and tasty. Staff lovely and chatty. "

We didn’t have breakfast at hotel. Whilst hotel had a pool, it was freezing and the sauna was up two floors rather than being on the same level. Very convenient for access into the main city."
