"The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room was cold. It took the aircon and extremely long time to warm the room up. I had to go down to the room and order room service for dinner which was very a very oily fish dinner served in a brown paper bag in a Styrofoam tray with wooden cutlery.... Definitely NOT worth $42.00"

"This is a small hotel located in the CBD of Auckland with access to attractions, the bay, and plenty of restaurants. It was a very comfortable stay. "I recently stayed at JW Marriott Auckland and was disappointed by the overall experience, which did not meet the standards typically associated with the JW Marriott brand.
Service levels were inconsistent and appeared understaffed. During check-out, I called for assistance with luggage, but no one arrived despite the urgency of our departure. After a prolonged wait, two staff members eventually showed up one after another suggesting a lack of coordination.

"Valet was rude, we stood there and waited for someone to help us.
Then in check-in the guy told us they didn’t have to do the Expedia rewards and he was basically doing us favour, was a very odd thing to say.
Then we got to room and there was old food in the fridge and bathroom had toothpaste all over it."
