"The Holbrook house is an exceptional B&B! The building is like something out of a Hallmark movie and the owners are wonderful. The breakfast was outstanding also. We are already talking about going back and staying there next year."

"This is an awesome B&B in a great location, away from all the main crowds of Bar Harbor, but close enough you can walk to everything. The hosts are great and helpful with suggestions of fun things to do and places to eat. I can see why it is always booked out and hard to get a room here. My only criticism, if you are a big guy like me or have a hard time getting around, maybe don't get a room on the third floor, the stairs make it a tight fit getting up there. "Delightful in located blocks from the ocean in Castine. Really great breakfast, bikes available to use, good wifi. There was a power outage due to a storm while I was there and while the building didn't have a generator, breakfast was still served the next morning and I noticed very little difference to the inn's normal procedures. Just a small thing, I don't think the heat in my room was on and it felt about 10 degrees colder in there than in the hallway outside. This is likely not an issue for...

"Normally my wife and I are not big bed and breakfast people. However, Harbour Cottage had some of the best reviews in the Acadia National Park area. We gave it a try and we are so glad we did. The Inn Keeper, Arlo, was very helpful with advice on trails. The Owner, Don, was friendly and helpful with tour and restaurant recommendations.
