Great place to stay within walking distance of Bar Harbor so we didn’t have to worry about parking. Friendly staff and the breakfasts provided were delicious. Everything was so convenient, we will definitely stay here again when we return to Bar Harbor.

Bob, the owner and his staff of Lynette and Andy were wonderful people. they made us very comfortable, like being at home. We had a great experience at Anne's White Columns Inn, and are planning to return.

The property is a former church converted into a B&B! Host and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. A few blocks from the center of town but still walkable. On-site parking was a plus. Slightly on the pricey side. Television and hot water for showers were tempermental

We enjoyed our stay! The staff were very friendly. Lynette was so helpful when we checked in and gave us plenty of options of things to do in places to eat. Our room was very clean and spacious. The inn was very quaint and well maintained. It was our first time staying at a bed-and-breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope we will be able to come back.

My wife and I had a good stay here at the tail end of the season. The only issue I would raise concerns the bed. It was a double so not ideal but the mattress was sagging and made it difficult to sleep well. Other than that it was really good.

This Bed & Breakfast was beautiful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Crème Brûlée French toast was amazing! We will definitely stay here again next visit.

Excellent property! Bob is a very gracious, the breakfasts are incredible, and the location is an easy walk to dining, shopping, Island transportation, and the Bar Harbor waterfront.

need a grab bar in the tub area I am surprised it is not required by law and also a couple of small corner shelves in the bath room, there was no place to put the items we needed after a shower. this would make a big difference for a better stay. breakfast was very good.

This is the perfect place for couples or singles to stay while visiting Bar Harbor. The historic house has been lovingly taken care of and beautifully decorated. The host was friendly and helpful with general information about the area. We had a secluded haven in the mist of a lively and beautiful seaport town. We would love to go back some day.

First Visit

Very pleasant inn. Is in need of some repair. Our room did not have AC and the ceiling fan was noisy. Staff was excellent and you could walk to town.
