"Rooms are small but adequate. Air conditioning good Staff were helpful but there was an obvious shortage of staff on at breakfast, food running out, machine new needing servicing and top ups. The shower curtain had some mould on it. One lift out of action so waiting times to get to 4th floor not good. Parking is overtly expensive at £19 a day"

"We arrived after late flight. I had informed hotel at time of booking but was asked to contact again on arrival day so room would not be sold on. There were roadworks on the junction for hotel meaning you had to drive to next junction and return. It would be nice to have been advised of this. The roadworks also meant the carpark was full and although on asking we were told we could park anywhere in services it is a one way road and leaving would mean another detour up the motorway. We parked in HGV bay as advised by receptionist - this information could easily be shared in advance. Since our last stay there has been introduction of £5 parking charge. This is a budget hotel and it is not too expensive. When i book double room I would expect sufficient towels. We had one bath towel, no hand towels. Arriving at 01.00 you can't be bothered to go back to reception to ask for basics. We have booked another budget hotel for our next late flight so we can judge if our expectations are too high or if Ramada is no longer for us."

"Generally shambolic… check-in not smooth, bed not made properly, but worst of all was breakfast. Not enough tables, coffee machines kept malfunctioning, no eggs apart from scrambled and the bacon was like cardboard. Unfortunately the breakfast seemed to be run by good hearted but overworked kids. Can’t blame them, management obviously poor. For £140+ per night this is frankly poor value."
