"Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. We upgraded to a grand suite which was gorgeous. Had a meal at eighty eight, the look of the restaurant was great and the food matched, very tasty. A slight issue with some drinks going on our bill by mistake which I’m unsure how that happened as you sign for them, and we didn’t get our chocolates and water for the journey home which the check out staff said would be in our car. Overall a fabulous stay with some tiny issues."

"Very clean and tidy and welcoming. All utensils and amenities needed. Only downfall was parking which we were warned about. Had to park a good walk away and had to carry our belongings and kids and. Dogin the rain. "

"Room was very good. Rather warm, but turning the radiators off and opening the windows sorted that out. A very pleasant stay with the breakfast a 6 mile walk and a light lunch in the pub."

"Great base to see the best of the Yorkshire Dales. Nice clean and tidy house. Access was a bit hairy at times with narrow 1 way streets and busy car park. Breakfast was lovely and just next door."

"The space was bigger than it looks in the photos. Clean, comfortable- including the beds with pullow options. The area and local shops/food places were lovely and everyone so friendly. Owners very helpful, welcoming and on hand. Just perfect 👌 "
