"Amazing location and staff"

"Clean, very convenient, large room. Didn’t have breakfast or have any drinks etc but the bars looked nice. There was an awards ceremony going on when we arrived and had to wait an absolute age to get in a lift up to the reception, when we left after checking in we realised there’s an alternative entrance round the corner. It would be good if that were signposted so people were aware. "

"I stayed here for two nights in a double room with breakfast included, and unfortunately the experience was very poor so would not recommend coming here at all will not be coming back ever. The room was not properly maintained. The towels were unclean with stains and an unpleasant smell. Basic amenities were missing – there was no proper soap (only a dispenser), no shampoo or conditioner, almost no utensils, and only one small packet of tea provided for the entire stay. The room was also extremely cold even though the heating was on, and the hot water took a long time to work. I raised concerns about insects in the room that I believed could be bed bugs, especially after my partner was bitten during the stay. When this was reported to staff, they were rude and dismissive and did not properly investigate the issue or offer an alternative room instead they checked us out. Breakfast had been included in my booking and paid for in advance, however I was told on arrival that breakfast was not being served during my stay. I was given a voucher to use in the restaurant, but when I tried to use it I was still charged the full price and service charge and only received a small discount. Overall, the accommodation and service were not as advertised and fell well below acceptable standards. The booking was eventually cancelled and only a partial refund was issued despite the problems experienced instead of full. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here. "

A special thank you to Theo, who was absolutely amazing—friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. He really made the stay even better. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"Ideally placed for what we needed (nearby to Empire Shepherd's Bush - we were going to a gig) we actually booked with the Sapphire but ended up staying in their sister hotel the Pearl which is a couple of doors down"

"The hotel is lovely and the staff were very friendly. It is a great location for visiting the Apollo. Our room was the top floor, the last set of stairs are narrow and steep. The twin room was plenty big enough and well lit. The bathroom is compact but fine. All was clean and well presented. The road noise is very loud in the room, so much so that I assumed the window was open - but it was not open. If you are a light sleeper you will have problems. I’m not a particularly light sleeper but passing emergency vehicles and motorcycles woke me up several times. However, I would happily stay here again or recommend friends to. "
