"We had a very nice stay at AbbyCreek Inn and would happily stay here again. The room was basic but comfortable and clean, even in a pet-friendly room. The bed was comfy, the A/C worked great during the 90+ temps, and a working fridge and microwave are always welcome.
The staff was especially kind and helpful.
The location is a highlight. We loved being able to walk to nearby restaurants and downtown, walk to the river behind the hotel, and let our dog enjoy the multiple grassy areas. The pool (refreshing), hot tub (hot!), and sauna were all clean and well maintained.
The only unexpected thing was a very large group had essentially taken over the pool area during the first day, so we didn't end up using it at that time. (But we did the next day.) Breakfast was standard continental fare, and gluten-free options were quite limited.
Overall, this is a comfortable, well-located hotel with friendly staff and a great value for the area."
