"Very cool boutique hotel with loads of character right in the center of town and walkable to everything. It was the hottest heat wave in Europe when we were there and very few hotels have air con. The fans provided helped. Would recommend!"
"Best hotel in Bavaria! We stayed at lots of them and Hotel Eisenhut in Rothenberg ob der Tauber was our favorite. The restaurant cuisine was amazing and the view was amazing. We loved the easy access from the front of the hotel to the marienplatz, but were happy to find the garden entrance at the rear for access to the city wall and garden. I hope to stay again!"
"This is a very nice hotel. We were lucky to get a room with AC and grateful for that given the heat! The breakfast is nice though not as extensive as some other places we stayed in Germany. Overall a great stay and very conveniently located to see all the beautiful sights! I would def recommend it."
"One-of-a-kind building to convert into a hotel! Outstanding breakfast, especially if you can score one of the limited outdoor tables. Terrific staff, always willing to help. The only caution -- and you will know if this applies -- is that there is a long, steep set of stairs (through a beautiful forest) to get to eh city. I would not recommend this hotel (because of the stairs) to my 88 year old mother, but would recommend it to every other family member. Other than the 200+ stairs UP, to get from the hotel to the city, this hotel is excellent."
"Nice boutique hotel very close to the gate going into the historic center. Only downside is it’s an older property so since it’s historic, there is no air conditioning and it was a hot night so it was very hard to sleep with the doors and the windows open and a lot of noise from the outside"
"Fantastic Hotel.
Brilliant bar area. Great pool and spa.
Except staff!!
Immaculate and comfortable room with good air con and excellent shower en-suite.
Easy parking for motorcycles.
Very very good breakfast!!
Thank you"
"The rooms are lovely and peaceful. The shared kitchen is very well equipped and the Mango Tango tea is delicious. Staff are incredibly helpful and location is ideal for visiting the old town. Highly recommend this hotel."
"We unknowingly arrived at the end of a local community celebration Meistertrunk. After a lovely breakfast in the garden we were serenaded by two roving groups in period costumes. Great fun and right outside. We wound up eating all our meals here as well. The food was very well prepared and tasty and the service was excellent."
