"It is in the airport, so it is very convenient for overnight stay between flights. Very clean and good buffet breakfast. The staff is very helpful. Rooms are not very big, but efficient for a short stay"

"The Sunrock Guesthouse is a beautiful peaceful oasis very close to the airport. The grounds are meticulously maintained. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. When you stay, sign up for their evening buffet, as the food was absolutely delicious! Breakfast was included and also very good. We would for sure stay again if ever in Johannesburg."

"Staff were ALL super helpful, friendly and professional. I felt the staff really represented the hotel well. Check-in was easy and relatively quick. I used the gym and it was extremely clean, in good working order and water and towels were available. The gym is a good size for a hotel gym. The hotel is old and probably well overdue for a drastic renovation but it was clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!"

"This is a beautiful hotel conveniently located next to the airport terminal. The staff are very friendly, polite and efficient. We had an issue with the room assigned to us but this was dealt with very quickly and management upgraded us for the inconvenience. We booked a balcony room but in reality it just overlooked the parking area so wouldn’t recommend it. Definitely would stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel."

"Room had the shower in the main room. Beds were small twin beds. There was a large clump of black hair by the sink. I have brown hair and my wife had red. We used the Resteraunt and clearly stated my wife had a severe allergy to onions. She ordered a hamburger that came with onions. They said they would cook another. It did not come with onions but she took 2 bites and started to get sick. She went to the room and threw up. She felt better. Service was way slow and not attentive at all. Overall...

"The bedding was clean and well-presented, which is always appreciated. However, a few noticeable stains on the carpet near the doorway detracted from the overall cleanliness of the room. With some attention to this detail, the overall experience would have been much more positive.The housekeeping phone service was not functioning from the room, which meant I had to go downstairs to reception to request additional towels, as well as an ironing board and iron.
