"The Sunrock Guesthouse is a beautiful peaceful oasis very close to the airport. The grounds are meticulously maintained. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. When you stay, sign up for their evening buffet, as the food was absolutely delicious! Breakfast was included and also very good. We would for sure stay again if ever in Johannesburg."

"Staff were ALL super helpful, friendly and professional. I felt the staff really represented the hotel well. Check-in was easy and relatively quick. I used the gym and it was extremely clean, in good working order and water and towels were available. The gym is a good size for a hotel gym. The hotel is old and probably well overdue for a drastic renovation but it was clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Room had the shower in the main room. Beds were small twin beds. There was a large clump of black hair by the sink. I have brown hair and my wife had red. We used the Resteraunt and clearly stated my wife had a severe allergy to onions. She ordered a hamburger that came with onions. They said they would cook another. "This is a beautiful hotel conveniently located next to the airport terminal. The staff are very friendly, polite and efficient. We had an issue with the room assigned to us but this was dealt with very quickly and management upgraded us for the inconvenience. We booked a balcony room but in reality it just overlooked the parking area so wouldn’t recommend it. Definitely would stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel."
