"Came up to Crosslake for two nights for a nearby wedding. With weather pushing into the 90s it was nice to have a small AC retreat close to town square. There are walking paths to almost everything nearby. Pool and hot tub were a but warm for the heat, but are likely amazing in the shoulder seasons and winter. "Although it is very early season, the whole resort was not completely open. Especially the dining venues. We were basically left to 2 choices fo dining. Of the 2, we dined in the grill area. The food was just ok. They didnt use real butter to grill the bread, instead using the fake oil stuff which is awful to begin with. It transfers the burned flavor of sitting out the grill too long then the grill metallic tastes transfers to the bread. (I know this because i was a chef for many years)"
