"In dire need of TLC"

"Staff were lovely and attentive. The breakfast was lovely and made to order. The bathroom was very nice and modern. However the main part of the room was tired. It lacked any decoration and had a tv that was very old and small. The tv was a bit lumpy and not super comfortable. The worst thing was though that the walls and ceilings were not very sound insulating. We kept hearing the people above us stomp around at all hours of the night and being woken up between 2:30-3 because of people...

"Great room, good and clean. Great decor and would certainly visit again. (Too good to say a "stay" as host so personable and friendly). Self check in as such, but only because of our travel time varied, would have been met by owners. Great hosts, giving good local advice and hints and tips, could not do enough to help us a new to the area. Bed very comfortable and certainly a warm room. We felt really at home here. "Easter Weekend, arrived on Good Friday 2pm to be told to go back at 3pm, which was the proper check-in time. We were allowed to leave bags and took the opportunity to explore area. Got back at 3pm to face a queue of guests waiting to check in and only 1 person on desk. When we got to speak to teh person on the desk we were told that our check in details have not come through, but she had all our info, asked for payment and asked us to wait and that she would get back to us.
