"Great hotel for an overnight stay. Short walk to the BIC and town, staff friendly and helpful. Car park underneath was secure but no direct access in to the hotel but worth it for peace of mind. Room was excellent, bed really comfy and ensuite was a good standard. All you can eat buffet breakfast really good with lots of choice and check in and out was painless, would stay again and recommend."

"Unfortunately on 2nd floor shower was cold to barely lukewarm for the entire weekend in March. Heating too was off when we arrived but later fixed. No breakfast available and noise throughout the night with banging doors talking laughing etc. Odour exists in rooms and corridors. Hotel is a throwback to the 60's and badly in need of a total renovation. However the price is quite cheap so you get what you pay for."

"We stayed here last year and had a very pleasant stay , so booked again. The staff were very nice and the room , although a little basic was comfortable , even though the Tv would'nt work properly. We had a meal there again as last time it was very good , with a full menu , good service and reasonable prices. However this time we were dissappointed as we booked an early table at 6.15 and were then told they had run out of Steak already . My husband ordered the burger but the chips weren't good...

"A very well used hotel not as special as I had expected. The air conditioning didn’t work in the room and no windows that open. The windows were not kept clean and hadn’t been for a long time which was very evident in the dining and reception area. The swimming pool was not clean be it the end of day when we went into the pool. There was a considerable amount of hair and fluff floating and the changing area was not kept clean. Floors were wet and clumps of hair in numerous places. Thus I didn’t...

"Its a bit tired but fine. Nice big room and comfortable bed. View over the carpark sadly with a noisy fan or generator or something directly below so couldn't open windows due to the noise, that would be an issue in the summer i expect and wont be a problem for all the rooms. About a 15 min walk to the station or to town. Wish I'd booked direct as expedia was almost double their onsite price"
