"In a great spot with parking on site if booked ahead. The room was small and dominated by the bed. The bathroom was a wet room style and pretty much everything in there did get wet because it was small. Good place to stop for one night, not sure it was a large enough room to stay for significantly longer."

"Staff was excellent in explaining the location and sites to see. The location is excellent and very quiet. I enjoyed the homemade breakfast items as described previously in prior reviews. The hotel is easy to access and they arranged a taxi to return to the airport to be driven to St Jean de pied pont. You will enjoy a night exploring in Biarritz before the Camino Frances. The French Rivera is beautiful"

"It's truly a boutique hotel, personally owned by one man since 2005. It took him 2 years to renovate a neglected 19th century stable and create a luxurious retreat. The hotel only has 8 rooms (making it the smallest 5-star hotel in France), and it's open during Biarritz' high season, only 4 months. "The Expedia description lead us to believe it was pretty much a beachfront property and we were looking forward to a few days on the beach. I understand the description have been updated since but was mentioning a white sand beach 3 minute walk. The 3 minute walk is to the top of the 145 stair steps you need to go down ( and eventually back up) and the beach is definitely brown. My wife has chronic pains and could not access the beach.
